January 2021 Developer's Log and Update


In this devlog, I develop a video game using Carnegie Mellon and Disney's Panda3D game engine and also plan to hopefully release it on Steam and/or itch.io. The first step in creating this project was to generate a terrain, I did this with L3DT and I created a snowy and mountainous area. 

After making the terrain, I constructed a player movement, with a first person/third person toggle and later on collisions. I do anticipate many of these scripts and 3D models to be reworked in the future; the player model is currently a sphere (the final model will be a spherical robot, similar to BB8 from Star Wars but not it). There still isn't much yet, I am aiming to get the foundations and basics right before diving into all the content creation and etc..
